The Plastiques Gagnon team is proud to team up with researchers from the Université de Sherbrooke to lead a research project on lithium-ion batteries for electric vehicles.

The BOREAS project will support the progress of transport electrification, a crucial aspect of energy transition, where battery efficiency is key.

More specifically, we will apply our expertise in plastic materials to create new technologies that will improve the thermal management of lithium-ion battery modules.

These technological advances could be decisive for several industries and significantly contribute to transport electrification.

Other proactive partners in this research include the CTA (Centre de technologies avancées BRP – Université de Sherbrooke), the Interdisciplinary Institute for Technological Innovation of the Université de Sherbrooke and InovÉÉ.
